John Peterman - Senior Loan Officer

Thanks for visiting our site!  I have been with George Mason Mortgage for 11 years.  I began my career as an intern handling post-closing issues.  From that point, I was a closer as well as a settlement agent for 2 years.  I then moved to secondary marketing and learned how the mortgage market works and how loans are priced.  Having worked my way through all of the different aspects of the mortgage process, I decided at that point that I wanted to have a more personal relationship with the customer.  In 2002, I became a loan officer and I have been perfecting my service ever since.  I believe that stability and integrity are essential values you look for in a mortgage professional.

I feel that I have more to offer you than your typical loan officer.  Working my way up the ladder has allowed me to gain extensive knowledge and insight into every part of the loan process.  I am here to answer almost any question that you may have about mortgage financing.  I have also teamed up with elite CPA's, financial planners and real estate attorneys that you will have access to at no additional charge for any advice you may need. 

At this point I can't simply ask you to trust me to handle your home mortgage and expect you to do so. I can only ask for the chance to get to know you and have you get to know me. Obtaining a mortgage loan can actually be a very smooth process and I've made many friends along the way as we've worked together to obtain home financing. Becky Lamica - Settlement Coordinator/Closer
